Respondent: Miss Katie Jarvis

Representation Summary:

Since opening of the NDR, there is a significant increase in traffic through the village reported by the local speedwatch team, road is a designated route for sugarbeet lorries and HGV's use road as a ratrun to the A47. There are already problems with residents getting out of their existing driveways throughout the village, several near misses, including one fatality adjacent to the proposed site. The village has no infrastructure to offer and pedestrians are forced to walk in the road for the length of the village. There is no fibre network and power is overhead which has been unreliable.
