I object to this proposal on the grounds that it will negatively impact on the accessibility of the A140 for Swainsthorpe residents. I access the A140 twice daily from Swainsthorpe and can often be sitting at the junction with Church Road for between 5-10 minutes before there is a safe enough break in traffic. This continues throughout the day and is not only during rush hour. Entering Swainsthorpe from the A140, using the middle lane to wait in, is very dangerous and it similarly can take an extended period of time to cross the carriageway. Any further developments in this area will only serve to increase the pressure on this area where even now traffic traffic can tail back from Newton Flotman to Dunston hall.The moving of heavy, slow vehicles along this part of the carriageway will continue to exacerbate this problem and make it more dangerous when frustrated drivers take the risk of overtaking here.
