Even though there is currently a dwelling upon the site it still allows views of the wensum valley through which improve the visual aspect of the area. There are a significant number of large trees on the site which will probably have be removed for roads and houses. This would be a high cost for very little return in terms of housing stock. Also it is important to keep development west of the Drayton high road as low as possible to reflect green corridor identified in the Neighbourhood Plan. Developing this site would set a precedent for this special area
