As the owner it is natural that I should support the application. I refer to my earlier submission for this small site:
This is an infill site .
Until 1980 is was little more than waste ground and then planted as a semi commercial orchard that owing to the demise of the fruit industry is no longer viable.
Approaching 83 years the time has come to downsize. Without my horticultural knowledge it is likely to return to the previous condition.
Any income from the development will help fund additional pension and end of life care for my wife as my pension lacks good widow benefit.
The application stresses the fact that any development should be in keeping with the local area and not disturb or offend neighbours of fifty years standing.
It will also provide one (or two at the most) homes at a time when new homes are required.
I appreciate the need to constrain uncontrolled development in a rural area but believe that making use of in fill sites such as this makes good sense for both the local and wider community.
