I have lived in the village of Swainsthorpe for over 50 years and have witnessed how the this farmland has been carefully husbanded to produce valuable, healthy crops. This development will constitute nothing less than a rape of the countryside and another step in our nation's inability to feed itself.
Added to this, the inevitable increased congestion on the A140 brought on by the movement of industrial vehicles and associated workforce, which is at times already overwhelmed by traffic, makes this development totally unacceptable.
