The proposed site is situated on an exceptionally busy main road, which has become even more so since the opening of the NDR, as vehicles seek to join the NDR and avoid the congestion on the A47 at pinch points at Burlingham, and Postwick. The proposal would require an access road joining the main road, which is characterised at this point by bends, a major junction, and a blind summit as vehicles approach up the hill. There is no infrastructure for a development of this nature; the area is remote from any local services or transport links.
