New, Revised and Small Sites

Representation ID: 17108

Received: 16/11/2018

Respondent: Suzanna Long

Representation Summary:

This proposal is inappropriate for the village, with a disproportionate number of houses for the size of the village. There are no amenities to support this size of development. It would also destroy agricultural land, wildlife habitats and views across open farmland to the historic Grade II* listed church. Vehicular access via Church view is completely unsuitable for the number of vehicles which would have to use it. It also opens onto a very dangerous blind bend and where there is recent evidence that many vehicles speed here. This is also near to where school children catch their school bus.
