Strumpshaw Parish Council objects strongly to this proposal. The site is adjacent to the Huntsman Pub which has closed due to repeated flooding. The site is therefore unsuitable for housing. Strumpshaw has no shop, no school, only one pub and very limited public transport so is not suitable for additional housing. The site is outside the settlement limit in the Strumpshaw Neighbourhood Plan.
