This greenfield development would have a negative impact. Air pollution will increase with reliance on cars to get to essential amenities - against all environmental policies.
The Street floods from surface water and sewage works. Road safety is poor with speed cameras next to the sites and is dangerous for pedestrians. The Street is used as the main route to the A1066 by lorries from the airfield grain store, industrial site and local chicken farms. On some stretches such as near the church it is impossible for pedestrians to get off the highway due to the high banks and visibility.
