Swainsthorpe is currently designated for small scale "infill" development in the JCS. This development would overwhelm the village, turning green agricultural land into an industrial site. My family home backs on to this proposed development and we certainly do not wish to loose the wildlife that we see on a daily basis to a expanse of car park, concrete buildings,noise pollution from heavy machinery, engine testing and additional traffic, light pollution from 24/7 security lighting, irreversible detrimental impact on the local environment, additional traffic, including heavy machinery from a new exit onto an already busy, congested and accident prone A140.
