Each new home will require 1-2 vehicles = up to 80 additional vehicles. Assuming 10 homes on this site, each car travels 20 miles/day on 5 days/week and an average, modern, medium-sized car emits 250g CO2/mile the site proposed here will lead directly to increasing CO2 emissions by 26.5tonnes/year.
This application potentially reduces local employment by removing agricultural land and the employment it creates. This reduces any need for additional housing.
The SERVICES, INFRASTRUCTURE AND AMENITIES do not exist to support additional housing. And the number of houses proposed, added to those existing, is insufficient to justify them being created.
