Representation ID: 17403

Received: 26/11/2018

Respondent: Prof. David Peters Corbett

Representation Summary:

Swainsthorpe is a residential village: the proposal would turn it into an industrial park. It would cause continuous noise during working hours; disrupt the character of the village; replace the views with light industry, add significantly to the heavy traffic along the already overloaded Church Road; and create further serious difficulties along a very busy stretch of the A140. Traffic on this stretch of the A140 is so heavy that there are frequently long waits to join the road at all hours of the day and these are guaranteed during rush hours.
