This site is in the heart of a historical village ,with a public footpath on this land. Access down a small road is difficult at present, particularly if met by another car. The road in this area floods from the water Opposite the plot towards the mill. The economic and land assessment highlights the roads in this area as Amber - I would say red! Towards Bungay is a dangerous t junction on to the a143, which will be exacerbated by more traffic leaving the village. There are crossroads in the village on a blind bend, with parking on some nights blocking the visibility ( pub, residents) The proposer states that this could be used for housing? Where would these individuals work?? Look at the employment figures. To travel would create more road traffic and congestion, on already unsuitable roads . GP surgeries? Recent CQC inspection for harleston practice (15/2/18)already indicates improvement required in meeting appointments for service users- indicating that the practice is already to capacity. (45% met- national average 73%!) this is well below the national average. Schools- travel required to harleston. Limited bus service. Dental- harleston BUPA practice confirmed today they are full to NHS Clients. Employment? Travel required as discussed earlier. No shop- travel required. THIS would not be a green development option
