Dear Sirs,

I have a number of concerns and objections to planning application GNLP2042.

The proposed site is disproportionate to the current village and out of scale. This will alter the feel and the density proposed is completely out of character with the village. The mass of properties in one site is not fitting with the feel for the village.

To add to this the suggested plot will impact the feel and surrounding area; there is a number of grade 2 listed properties that will have the character and setting negatively impacted. For example listed properties 1301791, 1050815,1372997, 1179818 and 1050816 all of which surround the proposed site. There is no way English Heritage would be happy with such a proposed site as these traditional farm houses of heritage would no longer have any farm land surrounding them.

Add to this the overcrowded Doctor surgery which is 2 village's over and no local facilities this is not a suitable site to be expanded.

I would also like to raise concerns with the accident rates (recently increased) at the A140 junction as this will increase traffic at an already dangerous and busy junction. The proposed site would be in an area with no easy or safe access on or off the main road.
