1. Wortwell is small village which has already been bypassed.Its infrastructure ,road system and character couldn't carry the weight of a large development.
2. The land surrounding and below is subject to flooding.Increased water run off would be problematic.
3. The area is important to wildlife,endangered Turtle doves visit anually,Barn owls hunt here and all types of birds and animals use these and the surrounding fields as a refuge during times that the adjacent marsh floods.
4.A promenant development that overlooks the beautiful waveney valley below would be a visual and ecological disaster.
