We have seen what happened on the Berryfields site which was also designated for recreational use and was subsequently passed for housing, the land owner is not likely to sell this land to the PC, the PC has not got enough money to buy it, and a compulsory purchase order is unlikely to get the go ahead from the government. The only way Brundall is going to get the open space that it should have if it is part of a approved housing development as already been submitted by Quantum group.
