The proposal would mean We would no longer be a village. The new houses would increase it's size two fold. The road structures are not sufficient to hold the amount of traffic that would be travelling through.The services in Wortwell are limited. This is a rural village and a modern housing estate would detract from its heritage and decrease current property values in the village,some dating back to 1700's. There is no school,shop or adequate bus service so traffic would become congested around the village. We moved here because it is a small rural village with a good local community.
