New, Revised and Small Sites

Representation ID: 17944

Respondent: Mr D Razzell

Representation Summary:

Words fail me that more land maybe allocated for building in our lovely village especially in view of the fact that two sites are very near to being agreed, one of 69 homes and the other for 65 homes, this in itself almost doubling the size of the present village. Of course this will also put an enormous pressure on doctors and school (I know you have heard it all before but is the truth nevertheless).

In the Joint Core Strategy Policy 15 Newton St. Faith was listed as a service village which states land would be allocated for SMALL SCALE development.

The current proposed developments already greatly exceed this proposal let alone the addition of the new proposed land.

The main A140 flanking this land is extremely busy escalated by all the development at Aylsham and accessing the junction from this village to this main road is already problematical and an accident waiting to happen.

I hope that the villagers' concerns will be listened to and taken into consideration.
