This application is contrary to the LPA village development plan which excludes development of open meadow land in front of Trees Farm. This historic meadow is prone to flooding. There are no mains sewage in the village, no easy access to schools or shops and no jobs, new houses would increase traffic in and out of the village on narrow roads having a detrimental affect on the environment. This would be a loss of wet common land, a feeding ground for barn owls and would spoil the rural nature of the village.
