Representation ID: 18106

Received: 08/12/2018

Respondent: Mrs Kate Thurston

Representation Summary:

The current infrastructure would not be able to cope with more housing. The road in not wide enough to facilitate more traffic and is already a danger for pedestrians with large lorries and agricultural vehicles. The Street is always prone to flooding with streams unable to deal with run off from fields. Anglian water's pumping house for the sewage is also at full capacity. No public transport runs through Fersfield, the village also has a lack of amenities such as shops, schools, pubs & medical services. Although there is a need for affordable housing this site is not suitable.
