Representation ID: 18154

Received: 09/12/2018

Respondent: Mr Kenneth Forsyth

Representation Summary:

Objections regarding the impact on medical, dental, educational and transport facilities in Harleston have already been lodged and have my support. In addition, the proposed development will greatly increase traffic along Low Road which is narrow and subject to flooding. The junction of High and Low Roads is already hazardous. Any increase in traffic will endanger pedestrians, cyclists and other road users; many pedestrians follow this route to The Bell pub which is an essential meeting place for village residents. Beyoond this, I am concerned by the creeping urbanisation which threatens the identity of Wortwell as a Norfolk village.
