New, Revised and Small Sites

Representation ID: 18185

Received: 09/12/2018

Respondent: Mr Ian Penning

Representation Summary:

The proposed development site is at the heart of a small rural village, and unless carried out with great sympathy (difficult with a modern build), would have a disproportionate impact on the character of the village, which also lacks the infrastructure to support much of an increase (no shop, limited public transport, limited access to medical or dental care, over-subscribed local schools). It is also difficult to see how safe access to the site could be provided, with any access points being located on, or very close to road bends reducing visibility.
