Representation ID: 18401

Received: 10/12/2018

Respondent: Mrs. Kathryn Holdsworth

Representation Summary:

There is no pavement this far through the village, and the width of road means that cars have to pull over to pass each other. Encouraging extra traffic to be pulling out onto Church lane at this point will significantly increase the risk of accidents. I would consider this to be irresponsible. Building 20 extra houses in a small village which has no amenities and sporadic pavements would be inappropriate. Extra traffic to access the A140 from Church Lane will add to existing difficulties, particularly at busy periods. Swainsthorpe lacks the amenities for this kind of development.
