I am deeply concerned that even one of these applications, if granted, would negatively impact the quality of life for local people. If multiple development sites were accepted, the face of the village would fundamentally and irrevocably change for the worse.
The addition of the proposed households results in a significant percentage increase in the local population. In the absence of medical, educational and retail facilities, Swainsthorpe lacks the infrastructure to support further housing development, and so new homes place additional pressure on Mulbarton's resources and the physical access thereto.
