Full text:

The proposal of such a vast industrial site on greenfield land should never have been put forward. It will have such catastrophic consequences, both in terms of the environment, local pollution, including noise, air and also light from security lights at night etc, and of course traffic congestion. The A140 already struggles with the traffic demands in peak times, and this will exacerbate the situation enormously.
Swainsthorpe will not be able to cope with this capacity of new infrastructure, and one would think that this site could only be proposed if all other ones have been exhausted. Just because the site at Hethel, for instance, is perceived as not convienient for Ben Burgess does not mean it shouldn't be considered further. Surely amalgamating all six current sites will be more accessible in the long term and the use of brownfield sites is to be encouraged.
