I grew up in Horsford and now live in Hellesdon so I h ave known this area for 40 years. Hellesdon is struggling as it is with the volume of traffic and this is no longer only at rush hour, it's all day every day. My children go to xxxxxx schools.
This year the junior school had to take on an extra class of children due to being massively oversubscribed. This will have an impact on the children, staff and future years. All the schools in Hellesdon are bursting at the seams. We cannot accommodate any more families in this area unless they commit to more schools. The site at the golf course is Hellesdon is already impacting on the traffic on Drayton high road.
The doctors are struggling to accommodate any more people so any more plans to build must have their own medical centres.
One of the things I have most about Hellesdon is we are close to the city but also enjoying the country side on our door step. This is being taken away bit by bits and it must stop.
