I am strongly object against this proposal, it will simply increase accidents on Church Road and on the A140 putting us all at risk. Swainsthorpe is just not suitable for this in any way or form, building an extra 20 houses will create noise pollution, I truly hope this does not go ahead.
To begin I would like to say that I don't know how this is being considered. Swainsthorpe a small and family run village with beautiful surroundings of wildlife. Church Road is a very small, narrow road with many blind spots making it very difficult to see from both directions. Especially when there are pedestrians. Church Road does not have pathways all the way down the road making it more unsuitable. Simply, the traffic increase would put us all at risk as well as on the junction coming on and off to the A140. The junction has had many accidents this would only increase the probability more, it is far too dangerous. Swainsthorpe does not have the infrastructure for this proposal of 20 houses, it will cause increasing amounts of pollution. I strongly object.
