I strongly object to any development on this site. Taverham Road simply cannot take any more traffic. It is a narrow road and although there are bollards cars still speed down it. I have difficulty at the present time getting out of my drive without increasing more traffic. There is only a pavement on one side of the road and it would be hazard for children, especially, crossing the road.
Also it is situated in the Wensum Valley which is a Special Conservation area and SSSI. It is a haven for wildlife, deer, foxes, hares, rabbits and numerous birds. It would be criminal to spoil all this.
It would certainly spoil Mac's Lane which is a pleasant country lane which is used by many for a recreational walk
Added to the above is the question of Drs putting extra pressure on them. They are oversubscribed as it is and a waiting time of three weeks is normal.
