Swainsthorpe is a small, safe, rural village and people who live here chose to do so on that basis. The building of a large industrial unit will fundamentally change the nature of the village. There will be in increase in light and noise pollution and a significant increase in traffic both through the village and on the A140 which is already at more than capacity during the rush hours especially. There must be other sites around the city which offer better access and with less impact on local people.
