This area is outside the settlement area agreed in the strumpshaw parish plan. 2 homes have already been agreed for the site of the old barn. Permission was given by BDC because only the gardens breached the settlement area. Now the developer wants another house instead of the gardens on the hill and 5 bungalows on the meadow directly behind the gardens of 33, 35, 37 and 39 Norwich rd. As this site is on a slope the existing houses lose their rights of privacy, in particular by the additional house on the barn site. I understand the current owner of the land behind number 33 wants only 2 homes for family use and told us he was not aware this spplication had been submitted so not sure what is going on here.
