The addition of these houses to the village would be an irresponsible use of the land. The junction off of the A140 is already a prime accident site which will only be made worse with increased traffic flow.
The doctors surgery is already struggling, with a wait of 3 weeks just for an emergency appointment. The sister surgeries are also under stress due to their expanding villages so the extra people from this development will be subject to substandard medical attention.
The school will also become strained with an influx of new children.
