Draft Local Plan-Part 2 Site Allocations

Representation ID: 19891

Received: 10/02/2020

Respondent: Mr Paul Stevens

Representation Summary:

(Comment changed from object to support as respondent seems to be objecting to additional housing on site rather then this proposal for leisure/recreation)
Firstly I appreciate the need for extra housing. That said, financial gain must not be allowed over common sense as in this case, to build in such a place as proposed.
Since the opening of the NDR, traffic has increased significantly with traffic backing up from the ring road making Heath Crescent difficult to depart from.
The proposed entrance is desperate measure in my opinion as they cannot see an alternative.
I am totally against this proposal, with the extra traffic resulting from additional housing ,extra strain put on local resources and more loss of green area.
