Draft Local Plan-Part 2 Site Allocations

Representation ID: 20067

Received: 23/02/2020

Respondent: MR Marlon Fulcher

Representation Summary:

Broadland’s own policies on formal recreation space and green infrastructure (Recreation Provision in Residential Development SPD) show that Hellesdon has only about 50% of the amount it should have. The Parish Council plans include formal and informal uses, as such this should clearly be supported. Furthermore this is the right plan in the right place, there are no green spaces east of the Cromer Road and there is a need for play equipment in this quadrant of Hellesdon. Currently children and young families have to cross the busy road Cromer Road on foot or must Drive - more CO2!
