Draft Local Plan-Part 2 Site Allocations

Representation ID: 20230

Received: 02/03/2020

Respondent: Mr Christopher Entwistle

Representation Summary:

There is a lack of local amenities to support development at the key visual western arrival to our village. There will be too much traffic as residents have to make longer journeys to amenities such as doctors, shops and schools as existing facilities are lacking and generally too far to walk to. The roads are narrow and prone to surface water, there is a shortage of pavement and risk of increased traffic accidents on unsuitable existing roads. We seek to become carbon neutral by 2050. Currently takes a long time to safely access the A47 with current volume of traffic.
