Honingham is being besieged by plans for the new Norwich Western Link, for major changes and dualling of the A47 and its junctions and by development of a huge farm hub. This is rural Norfolk which should be able to maintain and support a modest rural community. Honingham has no aspirations to become a dormitory town for Norwich. It has no school, medical centre or shop. A development of the size now proposed, although appreciably smaller than originally suggested, remains out of scale with the entire character of the village which is on the point of being destroyed.
