The application is the thin end of the wedge to a much larger development in a quiet rural village which has a limited ability to support any residential development. There has already been representation for large scale development on this site.
The site proposed is in an elevated position & will be detrimental to the privacy of existing properties with overlooking.
Surface water drainage within the village is an ongoing issue with flooding on The Street & Dereham Road & further development is bound to make this worse.
There are no shops or other facilities to support more housing.
