Draft Local Plan-Part 2 Site Allocations

Representation ID: 20956

Received: 14/03/2020

Respondent: Mrs Adele Stephenson

Representation Summary:

Honingham does not have the facilities of larger rural villages. Existing properties are in proportion to its location and are characteristic of the smaller Norfolk villages which often include some heritage items - in Honingham's case a War Memorial and heritage cottages. Attempts to expand it by introducing houses as proposed will cause it to become a dormitory development for Norwich. Almost all facilities - and jobs - will have to be reached by road, adding to the already heavy traffic. Drainage in the area is a major concern. Has consideration has been given to finding any small brownfield sites?
