Representation Summary:

A47 dualling and NDR link is already more than honingham can handle. Overlooking existing properties, loss of habitat, no amenities, no schools, no bus stop, water run off, light pollution, plenty of brownfield sites. Single properties being refused in the village. Ridiculous proposal. Please do not approve this site, honingham doesn't deserve it!

This is a ridiculous proposal. Is honingham not being ruined enough with the dualling of the a47 and the Western link of the ndr? 12 more houses in a village with no amenities, not even a bus stop in the village. Where a perfectly good housing plot for a single house was repeatedly refused. The land is higher and therefore will overlook the surrounding houses. Water run off will increase the flooding issues currently suffered in the village. The area near fellowes Road was deemed unacceptable due to not being within walking distance of a school! So why is this area acceptable? There are important habitats, including visiting turtle doves and a winter roost of red kites nearby so why lose important feeding grounds for these birds amongst other important animals. Light pollution will be a huge consequence to the village with the dualling let alone 12 new houses. I understand more housing is needed but there's plenty of brownfield land to use first. Please do not approve this site, honingham doesn't deserve it!
