This is a small village with no facilities for more residents. No shop, school or doctors' surgery. New residents would probably commute to Dereham or Norwich and drive children to school, adding to existing traffic problems and pollution. This is an area of natural beauty and interest with a wide variety of wildlife including red kites and newts. Residents have chosen to live here because this is the environment in which they want to live. It would be an unnecessary destruction of rural landscape when there are alternative sites in Norwich where facilities are available in walking distance.
