Strongly object - Future development in the village should be infill rather than building on green fields. This proposals opens up a substantial field to development. Even development on a limited scale changes the character of this gateway to the village changing the rural aspect opposite West Lane. The site itself has issues re access: this would add a junction to the already busy Church Street or a new junction would be required on a narrow section of West Lane. The proposal removes part of a rural buffer between the village, an A road and employment development to the south.
