Objection to GNLP2143 Marsham on the following grounds:
• Visual impact to landscape
• Using grade 1 agricultural land now essential for feeding society for development over brownfield sites within the village.
• Creating less efficient agricultural use of land and increased carb footprint.
• Flood risk to existing properties on the north side of slope. Field run of seen regularly.
• Heritage site for world war 1 landing strip.
• Site of archaeological interest. Metal detectorists seen in this area over the years.
• Wildlife site: Hares, farmland birds, smooth snake and hedgerow bird species
• Access route via Le Neve road wholly unsuitable for service and emergency vehicles.
• Nuisance to farmland animals’ sheep and lambs.
• Farming activities…herbicide, fertilizers, chemical and machinery in close proximity to living space.
• Dust clouds and insects in abundance from the field.
Recommend:
• Compulsory purchase brown field sites.
• Many other offers of land within the village to allow development to achieve target
