Representation Summary:

Woodland is invaluable for wildlife and local people who gain the benefits of being in a natural environment, walking and enjoying the changing landscape, flora and fauna. Building new houses and taking away their area for recreation makes no sense.

I am horrified at the proposed housing development in the woods alongside Colney Lane. This woodland is the habitat of a range of wildlife and flora. It is a popular area for walkers of all ages giving the residents of Cringleford, Eaton and further afield to experience a countryside environment close to the city centre - a valuable and rare opportunity. Already the residents of the newly developed Round House Park are able to make the most of this beautiful space. The proposed new developments in the area would also require outside space for recreation and to gain an understanding of wildlife. Taking away this woodland area while increasing housing in the locality makes no sense.
