At present the site is not just a redundant plantation , but provides amenity for the local population and students for walking , jogging , dog walking , Park Running and an opportunity to enjoy nature away from the built environment , We need to preserve green spaces in greater Norwich as islands in the sea of proposed housing.
The site is adjacent to the local CWS and development would leave the CWS exposed . Buildings on this site would visually dominate the Yare Valley Designated Green Space.
