I agree with the Parish council that housing to the south of the village would cause the least disruption in terms of traffic through the village as cars would go down to the roundabout instead of the street. The junction to the A140 to the north of the village is very busy at peak times and so I, living towards the north end, go through the village to the roundabout to save time and it is safer. I would expect that other drivers from the proposed sites to the north of the village would do the same thus increasing traffic and strain on the roads and make it less safe for children walking to school.
