The site supports a diverse range of wildlife. It provides a much-used local amenity for residents, and others from further afield as seen by use of the adjoining car parking spaces. It is used by dog walkers, runners, walkers and nature lovers, and as access to the UEA estate. We feel strongly that given the vast number of homes being built or planned in the immediate vicinity, this small tract of beautiful woodland should not be earmarked to be concreted over. It is totally unnecessary and represents a significant loss to our community and damage to the environment.
