In a county so sparsely wooded I object strongly to mature mixed woodland being destroyed for development. This site is important for wildlife and provides many different habitats (wood, march, pasture). It is not replaceable.
It is a fantastic place to walk. I was there this afternoon and despite the cold and snow it was well used - joggers, families with children, dog walkers...all enjoying the fresh air and surroundings, taking exercise and having neighbourly chats.
Please do not destroy it.
