It makes no sense to destroy valuable woodland and green space on this side of Colney Lane, eating into the Yare Valley. If there's a need to build further University accommodation (is there?) then please build it on existing developed parts of the University campus where there's plenty of unused space (have a look at a satellite image) or, on the southern side of Colney lane where there are multiple proposed developments and development would appear to be inevitable eventually. Smart planning incorporates not developing some tracts of land, not just looking for any seemingly available plots.
