The proposed use of this land will further erode the land that is supposed to be a protective corridor around the Yare. As further development takes place at Roundhouse Park I would suggest that the need to keep such green areas is increasing rather than decreasing.
While expansion of the UEA and Research Park is to be encouraged, the nature and direction of such expansion should be in keeping with its setting. It should complement rather than replicate the density of residential development being proposed.
This area is an intrinsic part of Cringleford's character, which although changing should still be respected and embraced rather than denuded.
