Site Proposals document

Representation ID: 15686

Received: 22/03/2018

Respondent: Mr Robert Graver

Representation Summary:

The village infrastructure is already overloaded and in particular the proposed development's suggested access is via an unsuitable road exiting onto a dangerous bend. Swainsthorpe has few services save for a pub/restaurant on the main A140 road with no schools or local employment. The scale of the proposed development is incompatible with the local area which can only sustain smaller projects. The field forms part of a circular walk which is valued green space enjoyed by the local community. This development could herald the area turning into an urban sprawl and spoil the rural character the village currently enjoys.
