Sections of Church Road have no pavement and no scope for widening where properties abut the carriageway. If you are unlucky enough to be navigating the section just east of the village green on foot as two cars pass you will need to press yourself in to the hedge to avoid harm. More cars on this section of road will pose a real risk of danger to life.
